People Who Are Undocumented: Occupations, Taxes Paid, and Long-Term Economic Benefits

People who are undocumented work in a wide range of jobs and pay taxes, and will reduce this country’s longterm deficit, according to two parallel reports released today by Immigration Research Initiative (IRI) that draw on analyses from the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, the Congressional Budget Office, and the Center for Migration Studies.
