Co-Released Report Highlighted in The Arab American News

A report, “High School Kids in Immigrant Families,” released by IRI and the Michigan League for Public Policy (MLPP), funded by Global Detroit, was featured in an article by the Arab American News. The article highlights the key findings of the report and quotes IRI’s senior data and policy analyst, Anthony Capote:

“Michigan is leading the way in reaching out to high schoolers from immigrant families,” said Anthony Capote, a senior data and policy analyst at the IRI. “Many of these students will go on to be the first college graduates in their families, and we have a responsibility to support them in their journeys toward that goal.”
